LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC TERMS OF SERVICE
I. CANCELLATION POLICIES
(a) Regular Pet Visits (not occurring over a holiday)
There will be no refund or credit for cancels made less than 2 business days from start date for 30, 45, 60 minute visits.
Cancels made 3 business days ahead of the start date will receive a 50% refund or credit for future visits applied.
Cancels made 4 business days or more ahead of the start date will be either fully refunded or credited for future visits.
(b) Recurring Visits:
Cancels must be made by 8pm the evening before the recurring visit, or full rate charged.
(c) Overnight, 24 Hour Service, 24 Hour Flex Care Service, and Extended Length visits:
Cancels made with less than 3 weeks notice will not be refunded or credited.
(d) Holiday Visits
Cancels for 30, 45, and 60 minute visits made with less than 2 weeks notice of the first visit will not be refunded or credited for the following holidays:
Thanksgiving: Trips booked that include Thanksgiving Day.
Christmas Eve/Day: Trips booked that include Dec. 24th; 25th.
New Year's Eve/Day: Trips booked that include Dec 31st; Jan.1st.
Easter: Trips booked that include Easter Day
Memorial Day: Trips booked that include Memorial Day.
Independence Day: Trips booked that include July 4th
Labor Day: Trips booked that include Labor Day
- We do understand there can be extreme circumstances, and they will be considered, but please understand it can be very difficult to replace cancelled visits for our sitters. -
II. PAYMENTS AND FEES: 
(a) Due Date of Payment:
* Regular Visits: Client agrees to make payment in full at least 5 days prior to the first visit, or at time of booking.
* Recurring Visits: (visits booked as ongoing, with no end date): Payments are due every 2 weeks, upon completion of visits.
* Overnight, 24 Hour Service, 24 Hour Flex Care, Extended Length visits:
Payment is expected at least 3 weeks ahead of first visit, or at time of booking.
* Holiday Visits: Payment is expected at least 2 weeks ahead of first visit, or at time of booking.
(b) A credit card on file is required for all Clients, including Zelle clients. For clients with an outstanding balance, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC has the authority to charge Client’s credit card. There is a 3% processing fee for all credit card payments.
(c) Unpaid invoices will incur a late fee every month of $20. Clients will be notified. (This includes credit cards that have expired and have not been renewed upon notification.)
(d) Any charges for unplanned or extra services at a visit will be due within 7 days of completion of service engagement.
(e) A flat holiday fee of $20 per day will be applied to the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
(f) Booking requests made less than 24 hour notice may incur up to a $15 flat fee, based on time of request.
(g) Initial Meet and Greets are free of charge. Additional Meet and Greets are $25 each.
III. EMERGENCY CARE: 
(a) In the event that pet(s) being cared for require immediate medical attention, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will attempt to contact the Client prior to obtaining emergency care. However, Client agrees that pet sitter has the authority to act in pet’s best interest even if this means seeking medical attention prior to notifying Client. Client agrees to reimburse LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC for any additional fees and/or expenses incurred while tending to emergency or veterinary care.
(b) Inclement Weather/Natural Disaster/Force Majeure: In the event of inclement weather, natural disaster, or force majeure, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. Client recognizes that in the event of inclement weather, natural disaster, or force majeure, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC reserves the right to alter services outlined in this contract.
(c) Personal emergency: In the event of personal emergency or illness of pet sitter, Client authorizes LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC to arrange for another qualified Lucy Goo sitter to fulfill agreed upon responsibilities as set forth on this contract. Client will be notified in such case.
IV. KEYS & LOCKS
(a) Client may agree to allow LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC to keep their keys on file in a secure location for future services. If Client prefers to have key returned, Client agrees to pay $20.00 pick-up and $20 drop-off fee for future services.
(b) Locksmith: Client gives LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC the authority to use the services of a locksmith in the event of malfunction of the lock, keys, or automatic door opener. Client also agrees to reimburse LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC within 7 days of return for all costs incurred, and to hold LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC harmless for consequences related to the activities of the locksmith.
(c) There may be an additional charge regarding the wait time for key check-out and check-in at apartment buildings and high rises. LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will contact client once there have been multiple instances of egregious wait times for key check-out/in, and arrange an extra fee based on wait time.
V. CONFIRMATION
Client agrees to inform the LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC office upon leaving their home, and again upon returning home. If Client expects to arrive home earlier or later than planned, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC must be notified as soon as possible. LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will reach out to client if no contact is made soon after last visit of run, and may send a Lucy Goo sitter and/or reach out to Client’s emergency contact to ensure Client has come home safe to their pet.
LIABILITY
LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC agrees to provide services in a caring, responsible manner. The client waives and relinquishes any and all claims against LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC, its employees and/or independent contractors, except those arising from negligence of the pet sitter. Client agrees to notify LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC of any concerns related to agreed upon services within 24 hours of return home. 
1) Emergency contact: Client agrees to provide LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC with contact information where he/she can be reached while away. Client will also provide a name and phone number of someone who is authorized to handle any major problems that may arise. If Client or designated contact person cannot be reached in a timely manner, Client agrees to accept any decision LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC makes in regards to pet care or Client’s property. 
2) Visitors: If anyone will be entering Client’s home while the pet(s) is under our care, Client agrees to notify LUCY GOO PET SITTING in advance. LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will not enter an occupied home if we have not previously been made aware of visitors. Similarly, unless we receive instructions from Client, we will not grant access to the home to any visitors. LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will not be held responsible for any damages incurred to Client’s home or pet(s) by visitors. It is understood that anyone with access to the home will be notified of LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC presence and vice versa. The police will be called, without exception, on all intruders or suspicious acts.
3) Outdoor access: LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC will not be held liable for the well being or actions of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.
4) Aggressive pets: If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behavior, LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel service. The owner will be liable for the pet sitter’s medical expenses and/or damages that are the result of an animal bite or injury due to pet’s aggressive behavior.
5) Vaccinations: Client agrees to provide LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC with proof of current rabies vaccinations for all pets. Should pet sitter be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client animal(s), Client agrees to pay all costs and damages incurred.
6) Future Services: Client authorizes this signed contract to be valid for future services without additional signed contracts or written authorization. 

CLIENT AUTHORIZES THIS SIGNED CONTRACT TO BE VALID FOR ALL CURRENT AND FUTURE SERVICES PROVIDED BY LUCY GOO PET SITTING LLC.
